We Help People Make Better Products That People Want.
Vux & Hoy is a product design, engineering, 3D visualization and digital product studio working across the path from idea to manufacturing to market.
We help furniture, home and product businesses develop better products, prepare them for production, create the imagery that sells them, and build digital assets that can continue working across ecommerce, sales, configuration, AI and emerging agentic-commerce systems.
Create designs and images that are persuasive to people, interpretable by machines, consistent with the real product, and useful as part of a complete product-information system.
Because ultimately, the technology is not the point. Better products are.
Start Anywhere.
Products rarely arrive at the same stage. Some clients come to us with an idea. Some already have a sketch or design. Some have engineering CAD and need commercial imagery. Some have thousands of products, multiple factories, retailers and digital channels - and need the whole system to work better. That is why Vux & Hoy works around four practical entry points.
I Have an Idea
Product Concept & Design
You know the opportunity, customer or direction. The product still needs to take shape. We can help develop product concepts, furniture collections, assortment strategies, trend direction, form and proportion, material and finish direction, visual identity, and initial 3D concepts. The goal is not merely to create something attractive. It is to develop a product with a reason to exist.
I Have a Design
3D CAD & Factory Engineering
The design exists. Now it has to become a real product. We work between design intent and manufacturing reality to help translate products into structured, repeatable and commercially viable systems. That may include 3D CAD, product engineering, parametric modeling, design for manufacturing, factory development, component standardization, modular product architecture, production documentation, and material and construction decisions. A good design should survive contact with the factory.
I Have a Product
CGI & Commercial Product Imagery
The product exists. Now people need to understand it, want it and buy it. We create controlled product assets and commercial imagery for ecommerce, retailer presentations, catalogues, campaigns, digital showrooms, product launches, lifestyle scenes, white-background imagery, finish variations, animation, and product configuration. A strong product model can become the foundation for many future outputs rather than disappearing after one campaign.
I Have a Bigger Project
Digital Product Systems & Enterprise Programs
Sometimes the problem isn't one product. It's the system around thousands of them. We work on broader commercial and product-development challenges involving product libraries, private-label programs, digital showrooms, assortment architecture, reusable 3D asset systems, digital product twins, ecommerce readiness, product-information workflows, AI-assisted content production, agent-ready product assets, and commercial product strategy.
What Makes Vux & Hoy Different?
We Don't Think a Render Is the End Product.
A rendered image is useful. But it is usually an output. The product knowledge behind that image can be considerably more valuable. We increasingly ask: What else should this asset be able to do?
Can the same product model support ecommerce? Can it generate consistent product views? Can it support new finishes? Can it become part of a configurator? Can it support AR? Can it help an AI system understand the product? Can commercial imagery begin before manufacturing is finished?
These questions change the economics of digital product development.
Product Truth Comes First.
Generative AI has created extraordinary new possibilities for commercial imagery. It has also created a new challenge. An image can look completely convincing while subtly changing the product. A handle moves. A leg changes. A seam disappears. A material is inferred incorrectly. A dimension drifts.
For concept work, some variation can be useful. For ecommerce, it can become a customer-experience problem.
Be creative with the world around the product.
Keep the product itself controlled.
That is why we care about accurate product geometry, controlled assets and clear sources of product truth.
3D for Truth. AI for Possibility.
We don't see the future as 3D versus AI. We see them working together.
3D can control:
- - geometry
- - proportion
- - configuration
- - camera
- - component placement
- - materials
- - product consistency
AI can expand:
- - environments
- - styling
- - visual exploration
- - campaign concepts
- - creative variation
- - storytelling
The strongest workflow uses each technology for what it does best.
Products Now Have Two Audiences.
For most of ecommerce history, product information has been created for people. That is changing. People still need to understand what something looks like and whether it works for them. But increasingly machines also need to determine what the product is, what it is made from, how large it is, and whether it meets the customer's constraints.
This is becoming increasingly important as AI search, multimodal systems and shopping agents begin mediating how products are discovered and evaluated. We believe the next generation of product assets needs to work for both.
Persuasive to people.
Interpretable by machines.
Consistent with the real product.
What Is a Digital Product Twin?
We use the term carefully. A photorealistic model is not automatically a digital twin. A model that rotates is not automatically a digital twin either.
For commerce, the more interesting opportunity is a digital product representation that connects accurate spatial information with meaningful product information. That can include identity, geometry, components, dimensions, materials, finishes, variants, relationships, and configuration rules.
A render tells someone what the product looks like. A richer digital product asset can increasingly help a system understand what the product is.
